In a short but very significant ceremony, the Dominica Association of Teachers reached out to seventeen teachers of the Petite Savanne Community. Each teacher received a cheque or cash totalling one thousand dollars (EC $1000.00).

A twenty-four member team comprising twenty-four athletes and three officials left the state yesterday to compete in the 15th Biennial Caribbean Union of Teachers Students’ Athletics Championships commonly referred to as the CUT Games. The event will take place at the Hasley Crawford Stadium, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 and 26.
The Dominica Association of Teachers held its 12th Biennial Conference at the Garraway Hotel in Roseau on April 23, 2014. The conference was held under the theme “Enhancing Education through Technology – the Educator’s Role”.
